Sharing Made Easy

     Have you ever felt plain inadequate or lacking in skill to share your faith?  Well I have good news for you.  God has provided a resource that is constant and abundant.  We have an unseen supply of sharing ability that will never run dry.  Listen to John 7:38, “For the Scriptures declare that rivers of living water shall flow from the inmost being of any one who believes in me.”  So we find that unending rivers of spiritual blessings and words of witness will flow out from us to others.  How amazing that out of our inner life with God flows streams of support, strength, and help.  Although this scripture form John is reassuring and a real confidence builder, God has also given us a plan that by relying on faith will be successful every time.  Psalm 81:10  “Open your mouth wide and see if I wont fill it.”  It sounds simple but it works.  As we yield our hearts and our will to let the Holy Spirit take over our motives, thoughts, and words, we become channels of God’s love and witness to the world.  One believer boldly stated, “No one can be indwelt by the Spirit of God and keep that Spirit to himself.”  How true this is that a growing desire to follow the Christ life compels us to speak out.  Today, tomorrow, and next week may we simply open our mouth in obedience and let God make sharing become easy and successful.
