Choosing the Right Team

    Get out the cheering team, ready, set, go.  We love God, yes we do, we love God how about you?  Jesus Christ forgives my sin.  So live for Jesus and controlled by Him.  He will use me as I yield, consecrated, willing and still.  He gives me life, I’m forever free.  All praise to God who delivered me.  Hurray!  The Bible is the best source of inspiration, encouragement and restoration.  We rally around God’s Word.  Every Christian is being asked to present their life to God who gives back moment by moment a transformed life that produces true satisfaction and fulfillment.  This means life is about excelling, being your very best which results in doing your very best.  Listen to II Tim 2:20, “In a wealthy home there are dishes made of gold and silver as well as some made from wood and clay.  The expensive dishes are used for guests and the cheap ones are used in the kitchen or to put garbage in.  If you stay away from sin you will be like on of these dishes made of purest gold- the very best in the house- so that Christ himself can use you for his highest purposes.”  The problem is sin is real and its daily.  But the Bible always provides down to earth strategies.  Here is just one of these strategies to defeat sin.  The next verse says simply RUN (II Tim 2:21) What part of run do we not understand?  Run means to get a move on, bolt, beat a retreat, clear out, skedaddle, split, and hotfoot it to name a few.  It takes real courage and wisdom to know when we need help.  Let’s take God’s provision and run away from sin. Victory is just one dash away.  Choose God’s team today and cheer, cheer, cheer.
